You will need to attend the college for 1 full weekend per month between September and June. We also recommend outside reading around the topics you are learning in class.

There are also monthly zoom tutorials you need to attend and you will receive the tutorial dates at the start of the year so you can plan your attendance accordingly. The tutorials are recorded and posted in your student portal so you can catch up on the content if you cannot attend in person.

All of our content follows on from the previous content so if you skip lectures in one module, you might not be able to make sense of the content in the next.

Enrollment & Course Options

Yes, if once you have completed your current year of study you need to take time off for personal reasons, you can defer your studies for a minimum of 1 year and return to your studies picking up where you left.

If you require more than 1 year away you will need to meet with one of the principals to make the necessary arrangements. You may need to resit the previous year or restart completely depending on the stage you were before you left and how long you will be away from your homeopathic studies.

If you have completed the Home Prescriber course and are now hooked on homoeopathy you have lots of exciting options available.

You can compete the foundation course to go deeper into homeopathic philosophy and homeopathic remedies or:

You can train to be a fully licensed homeopath with one of our professional Practitioner Training courses.

Details on all of our courses can be found here. Once you have read through the information on the website, if you have any specific questions please email [email protected] and one of our customer service team will be happy to answer them for you.

Entry Requirements

The only specific entry requirement is that you are 18 years old or over.

We interview every candidate before they are allowed to join one of the practitioner training courses and each person is assessed on a case by case basis. Life experience is far more valuable to a homeopath than qualifications. We can teach the academic side and plenty of support is given to you in that regard so please don't worry if you have been out of academia for a while or don't have a long list of academic qualifications. Get your application in and we can assess your needs accordingly.

As per the minimum entry requirements, We understand that most people wanting to train as a homoeopath will have been out of academia for some time. Every person who is placed on one of our training courses is interviewed and assessed as an individual. Life experiences are just as important as a GCSE or O’Level.

The training does require essay writing and the use of academic language/writing/referencing but there are lectures available to teach these skills and you are fully supported by your course coordinators and Learning Support.

Course Transfers

Yes, if you start on the foundation course and decide that you want to transfer onto the full training you can do so within the first 4 months of study. You will need to speak to your course coordinator and inform them of your wish to transfer and they will take care of everything for you and supply you with your specific assessment calendar so you can catch up on any missed assessments.

  • If you start the Foundation Course in September, you have until the end of December to transfer.

Yes, you can switch between the classroom course to the online course and vice versa if you move in/out of travelling distance of London. However the classroom course covers different lectures at different times to the online course so there may be some duplication of lectures and you will need to discuss with your course coordinator regarding the lectures you might have missed because of the change and you will need to catch up on those separately.

This may apply to assessments as well. For this reason you can only make the change between online and the classroom once so you need to be sure that you want to change before doing so.

Over all each year of study you will need to cover the costs of your own books. Once you have been accepted onto a training programme (and each additional year) you will be given a recommended reading list. From this list there are 3 books which you must have at the start of the course, the Organon, the Meta Repertory and the Materia Medica. The other books on the list can be purchased as and when you need them for assessments and further reading around your lectures.

Payment Methods

Once you have been accepted onto the course you will be sent a confirmation email which contains your payment link. You will have 7 days to make your first payment and confirm your place on the course.

Once the payment plan is complete payments will stop automatically.

At the end of each year you will receive an email from your course coordinator confirming your completion of the current year with a summary of your grades. This email will also include your payment link for your next year of study and the deadline for making/setting up the payment plan.

You pay for your training 1 year at a time.

At the time you make your first payment, the payment plan is set up automatically as a subscription. This means that you will not see any direct debit in your account. Payments will automatically be taken on the same day every month ( if you set your payment plan up on the 17th of the month, all following payments will be taken on the 17th day of the month).

Refunds & Cancellations

The refund policy can be located in the Terms and Conditions which you agree to at the time you make your first payment.

Refund Policy

  2. If you withdraw less than 14 days before the release of the first module or college weekend and the second module or college weekend (as applicable), then you will be refunded two thirds of the Fees minus the non-refundable Deposit.
  3. If you withdraw between the release of the first module or college weekend and the second module or college weekend (as applicable), then you will not be entitled to any refund of the Fees paid and due to be paid. Please note that this also applies to the monthly payment option, so please be aware that you will still be obliged to pay the Fees and, therefore, make all the remaining monthly payments.
  4. Students who have been either suspended or excluded from CHE for disciplinary reasons or for not maintaining minimum standards or academic progression are not eligible for any refund of the Fees.
  5. Prior to consideration for any refund or transfer, requests must be submitted in writing to the Administration Office, the details of which are [email protected] along with any necessary supporting documentation AND all necessary procedures for withdrawal or interruption of studies, as set out in the student handbook, must be completed by the student and the student must be recorded as ‘withdrawn’ by the Administration Office.
  6. Refunds will only be made to the bank account or credit card from which the Fees were originally paid. Please allow 6 weeks from requesting a refund to receiving it. Refunds will not be made in cash under any circumstances.
  7. All refunds will be calculated in UK Sterling. CHE will not refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations, or offer compensation for any bank or other charges incurred. Where payment of Fees was split between more than one payee, any refund due will be made in proportion to the original split.

Accreditation & Recognition

At CHE we want to give you as many tools as possible to help your patients so we teach a varied curriculum including:

  • The classical method
  • Practical homeopathy
  • Combination remedies
  • New materia medica and much much more

Our licentiate course is accredited by the Society of Homeopaths.

Not currently but we are in the process of ACHENA accreditation.

We have students from all over the world studying with CHE who go on to run successful practices in other countries. You need to check with your local governing body as to the requirements for your country of practice.

Student Support

Each class is set up with a Circle (like facebook but better) group where you can connect and share ideas with the other students in your online group.

We have dedicated Learning Support here at CHE. If you are unsure about how to complete an assessment or fail an assessment or do not understand your feedback you can contact learning support for a short 1 to 1 session to go through any questions you may have.

CHE Pro is designed for qualified homeopaths who want to continue and grow their education. We try to discourage students from joining CHE Pro until at least their third year of study and preferably not until they leave.

In your first two years at CHE you are learning the fundamentals of your homeopathic knowledge on which all other theories and ways of practising homeopathy can be built. CHE Pro may introduce you to different theories of practice and cause confusion at this stage.

In years 3 and 4 you start seeing your own patients and attending clinics on top of your normal studies so it is difficult to fit more learning in during this time and we don’t want you to waste your money. CHE Pro will still be there once you have graduated. The choice is yours however.

Occasionally yes if we do not think the content will confuse you, with what you are learning on the course. Your course coordinator will email you the details if a discount for the paid webinars is available.

No, you cannot download any video content from the student portal.

Experienced Homeopath Students

International Students

As a private college we cannot help in any way with student visas.

Not at this time. Please see the information regarding payment plans to assist in funding your training.
