Introduction to Homeopathy with Marcus Fernandez

A weekend that changes how you understand illness and how you respond to it

Most people don’t struggle with illness itself.
They struggle with not knowing what to do when it happens.
A child gets a fever at night. Someone is in pain.

Something changes and you’re not sure what it means.

And you’re left choosing between waiting it out… or going elsewhere for help.

Not because you’re incapable, but because no one ever showed you how to actually read what’s going on.

This weekend is about that.

Over two immersive days, you’ll learn how to understand acute illness, recognise meaningful symptom patterns, use key homeopathic remedies safely and appropriately, and begin thinking like a homeopath rather than reacting out of fear or confusion.

Not just “learning homeopathy”

This isn’t a tour through remedies or a list of things to try at home. It’s a way of starting to understand:

What illness actually is
Why symptoms appear the way they do
How the body behaves when it’s trying to recover
And how to respond without guessing

Most people are taught to treat symptoms.

We’re going to look at what the symptoms are telling you.

Why people are drawn to homeopathy now

More and more people are realising they want a deeper understanding of health. Not just what suppresses symptoms but what symptoms mean.

Not fear-based reactions,  but calm observation and informed response.

This weekend offers an introduction to that way of thinking.

What changes over two days

By the end of the weekend, people usually realise they’ve been looking at illness the wrong way. Not in a dramatic sense – just a quiet shift. Symptoms stop looking random. They start to look meaningful.

And instead of thinking:

“What should I give for this?”

You start asking:

“What is actually happening here?”

That’s the point where things begin to make sense.

Why this teaching is different

Most introductions to homeopathy focus on remedies. This doesn’t start there. We start with thinking – how to actually observe a case and understand what matters.

You’ll learn:

How to distinguish acute and chronic illness properly

How to take a clear acute case without second guessing

What’s actually important when you’re observing someone unwell

And how to make decisions in real time, not theory

How to decide about what potency to give, how often and when to stop.

Because until you can think clearly, remedies don’t help much.

Saturday, 6th June

Day One: The Foundations

We begin with the basics, but properly understood.

Not memorised – understood.

the history of homoeopathy

What the philosophy is actually based on

How remedies are made and why that matters

What “acute” and “chronic” really mean in practice

When it’s appropriate to treat at home - and when it isn’t

How to take an
acute case

A simple, structured way to go from “I’m not sure” to a clear picture of what’s happening.

We’ll also go through the CLAMS method; a way of organising what you see so you can actually make sense of it.

And then the practical side:

What you need in front of you in real situations

Sunday, 7th June

Day Two: Putting it to Work

On Sunday we start where most people actually want to begin: with the remedies themselves. But not as a list to memorise – as part of understanding how acute illness presents in real life.

Acute remedies and how
they actually fit the picture

We’ll begin with the key acute remedies – what they look like in practice, when they’re indicated, and just as importantly, when they’re not.
You’ll start to see how remedies relate to patterns of illness rather than isolated symptoms. This is where things start to make sense in a practical way.
From there, we move into real-world presentations:

Fevers, coughs, sore throats

Injuries and sudden onset illness

Digestive upsets

Emotional shocks and stress reactions

And throughout, we keep coming back to how illness actually shows up in households and when you’re working from observation rather than explanation.

Because often you can’t ask what’s wrong. You have to learn to see it.

Then we go further -
chronic illness

Once acute thinking is clear, we shift into chronic disease. Because chronic illness behaves differently and needs a different way of observing.

We look at:
We’ll work through a real case so you can see how illness develops over time, and how treatment isn’t fixed – it evolves as the patient changes, moving from the immediate acute picture into the longer-term pattern underneath it.

This is for you if

You want to understand illness properly, not just manage it

You’re tired of guessing when someone in your care is unwell

You’ve been interested in homeopathy but never had a clear way into it

You want a structured way of thinking, not just information

Or you already know some homeopathy and want to use it properly

You don’t need experience.

Just an interest in understanding things more clearly.
